FAQ
Microneedling
-
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. This process stimulates the body’s natural collagen and elastin production, promoting firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.
-
Microneedling is effective for improving:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne scars and other forms of scarring
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Enlarged pores
- Stretch marks
- Dull, tired-looking skin
-
Yes, microneedling is generally safe for all skin types, including darker skin tones. However, it may not be suitable for those with active acne, or certain skin conditions. A consultation is essential to assess your individual suitability
-
Most clients describe the sensation as a mild pricking feeling. At BellOmar Aesthetics, great care is taken to work with your comfort levels.
-
Immediately after treatment, you may experience redness, mild swelling, or a sensation similar to sunburn. These effects typically subside within 24–72 hours. Following aftercare instructions is key to achieving optimal results.
-
The number of sessions depends on your skin goals. For general rejuvenation, 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart are typically recommended. For scarring or more targeted concerns, 6 sessions may be advised.
-
You may notice a glow and smoother texture within a few days, but true results—such as improved firmness, clarity, and reduced scarring—develop over several weeks as new collagen forms.
-
Downtime is minimal. You may experience redness and slight flaking for a couple of days post-treatment. Most clients return to their regular activities within 24 hours, although it’s best to avoid heat, exercise, and makeup for at least 24–48 hours.
-
Absolutely. At BellOmar Aesthetics, microneedling is often combined with enzyme peels, cooling masks, LED light therapy, and tailored skincare for enhanced results. We’ll advise the best combination based on your skin’s needs.
-
When performed by a trained and qualified practitioner following strict hygiene protocols, microneedling is a very safe treatment. At BellOmar Aesthetics, your health and safety are always our top priority.
-
Avoid retinols, acids, and harsh exfoliants for 3–5 days before your appointment. Stay out of the sun and do not schedule any waxing or intense treatments in the area to be treated.
-
After microneedling, it’s important to:
- Avoid touching your face unnecessarily
- Use only gentle, hydrating products as advised
- Avoid sun exposure, exercise, saunas, and makeup for 24–48 hours
- Stay well hydrated to support skin healing
Chemical Peel
-
A chemical peel is a resurfacing treatment that uses gentle acids to exfoliate the outermost layer of skin. At BellOmar, we focus on superficial peels — safe, effective, and tailored to address dullness, congestion, uneven tone, and signs of ageing.
-
Chemical peels at BellOmar are ideal for treating:
- Uneven or dull skin tone
- Congestion and oily skin
- Acne and post-acne marks
- Enlarged pores
- Fine lines and sun damage
- Superficial pigmentation

-
Not at all. You may feel a mild tingling or warmth during application, but discomfort is minimal. We monitor your skin throughout the treatment to ensure a safe, comfortable experience.
-
Expect your appointment to last around 45–60 minutes. It’s not just a peel — it’s a full rejuvenation protocol that includes cleansing, enzyme prep, a cooling mask with LED light, and a relaxing massage.
-
Avoid active skincare (retinoids, exfoliants, AHAs, BHAs) for 3–5 days pre-treatment. Come with clean skin, no makeup, and ideally no recent facial waxing or threading.
-
We’ll provide bespoke advice, but generally:
- Avoid sun exposure and always wear SPF
- Skip retinol and exfoliants for 3–5 days post-treatment
- Avoid heat, steam rooms, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours
- Let your skin breathe — minimal makeup is best
-
Many clients notice a glow within a few days. Full results develop over 5–7 days as fresh skin emerges. For deeper concerns, a course of peels is recommended
-
Absolutely. Many of our male clients choose chemical peels to combat dullness, ingrown hairs, post-shave irritation, or sun damage — with zero fuss and zero downtime.
-
We typically recommend a course of 3–6 peels spaced 2–4 weeks apart for maximum benefit. Maintenance peels can then be done monthly or seasonally, depending on your skin goals.
Filler Dissolving
-
Filler dissolving is a non-surgical treatment that uses an enzyme called hyaluronidase to break down hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. It is used to correct or reverse filler complications, asymmetry, or overfilling
-
We use a prescription-only enzyme called hyaluronidase (Hyalase), which is clinically approved to safely break down hyaluronic acid fillers.
-
You may choose to dissolve filler if you’ve experienced migration, overfilling, asymmetry, lumps, or unsatisfactory results from previous treatment. It’s also required in rare emergency cases such as vascular occlusion.
-
Yes, we often treat clients seeking correction of filler administered by another practitioner. A full consultation is required to assess suitability. PLEASE NOTE: Emergency dissolving for vascular occlusion is available only for treatments done at Bellomar Aesthetics. Please contact us immediately if you suspect symptoms of vascular compromise. Any complications occurred from a treatment elsewhere, then please contact that place.
-
The treatment may involve mild stinging or discomfort, but is generally well tolerated. A numbing agent can be applied to reduce discomfort.
-
Most filler dissolves within 24–48 hours of treatment. Some results are visible within hours, but full breakdown and resolution may take a few days.
-
Possibly. Depending on the volume, placement, and type of filler present, multiple dissolving sessions may be needed for complete breakdown.
-
Yes, unless in an emergency situation. A patch test helps identify any potential allergic reaction to the enzyme.
-
Yes, but we typically recommend waiting 2 weeks after dissolving to allow the tissue to settle before reinjecting filler.
-
Yes, when performed by a qualified and trained professional. We follow strict protocols and only treat suitable candidates after full assessment.
-
You may experience mild swelling, bruising, or redness. Rarely, allergic reactions or temporary loss of natural hyaluronic acid may occur. All risks will be discussed during your consultation.
-
No. Only hyaluronic acid-based fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. We do not treat permanent or non-HA fillers.
Tear Trough Filler
-
: Tear trough filler is a non-surgical treatment that uses dermal filler to improve the appearance of under-eye hollows. It reduces dark shadows and a sunken look, creating a fresher, more awake appearance.
-
Ideal candidates have:
- Under-eye hollows (not puffiness)
- Good skin thickness and elasticity
- No major eye bags or fluid retention
Suitability is always confirmed with a consultation, as not everyone is a good match for this treatment. -
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

-
They’re typically caused by volume loss in the mid-face, genetics, or ageing. Hollowing casts shadows under the eyes, making you look tired even when you’re not.
-
This is a high-risk area due to the delicate anatomy. At BellOmar Aesthetics, advanced techniques and conservative dosing are used for maximum safety. We only treat suitable candidates after full assessment. We use Teosyal- Redensity 2 filler product only
-
Tear trough filler treats shadows caused by hollowness. If your dark circles are due to pigmentation, filler may not help. A thorough consultation will help determine the cause.
-
Typically, 0.5ml of filler is used under each eye area. Less is more in this area — subtle, conservative enhancement is key. This can be reviewed in 2 weeks to assess if more is required.
-
Mild discomfort is possible, but most clients tolerate it well. A fine needle or cannula is used, and numbing is available.
-
You may experience mild swelling or bruising for a few days. It’s best to avoid events or photoshoots right after treatment, but many return to work the next day.
-
Tear trough filler lasts around 12 months, depending on your metabolism and lifestyle.
-
Yes. If needed, hyaluronic acid-based filler can be safely dissolved with hyaluronidase.
-
Yes, there may be some swelling, bruising, lumpiness, or in rare cases, vascular complications. We minimise risks through careful assessment, conservative technique, and premium product selection.
Cheek Augmentation
-
Cheek augmentation is a non-surgical treatment using hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers to enhance volume, contour the mid-face, and lift sagging tissue. It restores structure that may have been lost through ageing or genetics, creating a more defined and youthful facial profile.
-
You may benefit from cheek augmentation if you:
- Have volume loss or flatness in the mid-face
- Notice hollowing under the eyes or sagging near the nasolabial folds
- Want a sharper, more contoured appearance
- Are seeking facial balancing without surgery -
The treatment can take up to 30-45 minutes including consultation, if numbing cream is applied, and aftercare advice.
-
Cheek fillers usually last 12 to 18 months, depending on your metabolism and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments are optional and spaced accordingly.
-
Discomfort is minimal. You have the option to apply a topical numbing agent beforehand, and most of the dermal fillers used contain built-in anaesthetic for added comfort.
-
You may experience mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising at the injection points. These effects usually settle within a few days. Most clients return to work or social activities the same day or next.
-
You’ll be given tailored advice, but general guidelines include:
- Avoid touching or massaging the area for 24 hours
- Skip intense exercise, alcohol, and heat (e.g. saunas, steam rooms) for 24–48 hours
- Sleep slightly elevated the first night if swelling is a concern
- Apply arnica gel if bruising occursDrink plenty of water
-
Yes, you'll notice volume and contour right away, but allow up to 2 weeks for the filler to fully settle and for any swelling to subside. This is when your final result can be assessed.
-
Yes — cheek fillers can provide a lifting effect by restoring mid-face volume. This can reduce heaviness around the lower face and soften lines near the mouth without treating those areas directly.
-
Yes. We use hyaluronic acid-based fillers, which can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if required — though most clients are very satisfied with their result.
-
At BellOmar Aesthetics, your safety is our top priority. We use high-quality, CE-marked products and follow strict hygiene and injection protocols. All risks, including rare complications, are fully discussed in your consultation.
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
-
Also known as a liquid nose job, this procedure uses dermal fillers to reshape the nose without surgery. It can smooth bumps, lift the tip, and improve symmetry.
-
This treatment is ideal for:
- Dorsal humps (bumps on the nose bridge)
- Drooping nasal tip
- Asymmetry
- Shallow bridges (to create height)
It cannot reduce nose size or fix breathing issues. -
Most people with minor cosmetic concerns are suitable, but a full consultation is essential. We do not treat clients with extremely thin skin or certain medical conditions affecting vascular health, or who have had a nose surgery.
-
Results typically last 12–18 months. Some clients choose maintenance every 9–12 months to keep the effect consistent.
-
Discomfort is minimal. You have the option to apply topical numbing cream beforehand and the filler itself contains anaesthetic.
-
You may experience slight redness or swelling for 24–48 hours. Bruising is uncommon but possible. Most clients return to their day right after treatment.
-
No — even though filler is added, clever placement creates a more harmonious and streamlined profile, often making the nose look smaller overall.
-
This is one of the highest-risk areas for filler due to its complex blood supply. At BellOmar, we take every precaution — using advanced techniques, slow injections, and only treating suitable candidates after in-depth consultation.
-
We only use premium, CE-marked hyaluronic acid-based fillers that are safe, reversible, and specifically chosen for their firmness and ability to hold shape in the nose.
-
Yes — because we use hyaluronic acid fillers, the results can be reversed using hyaluronidase if necessary.
-
For many, one session is enough. Some clients may benefit from a touch-up after 2–4 weeks depending on swelling and filler settling.
-
Non-surgical rhinoplasty carries rare but serious risks such as vascular occlusion or skin necrosis. That’s why it’s crucial to choose a trained practitioner with anatomical expertise and emergency protocols in place — like at BellOmar Aesthetics.
Jawline Augmentation
-
Jawline augmentation is a non-surgical treatment that uses dermal filler to create a sharper, more contoured lower face. It enhances the jaw’s definition, reduces the appearance of jowls, and improves overall facial balance.
-
You may benefit from jawline filler if you:
- Have a soft or weak jawline
- Want a more structured and masculine appearance
- See early signs of sagging or jowls
- Desire better side-profile definition -
Most clients start with 1–2 ml per side, but it varies based on your facial structure, ageing, and desired result. You’ll be advised during your consultation.
-
Only if that's needed to balance your features. We assess facial proportions carefully to create a sculpted but natural result. The goal is definition — not bulk.
-
The treatment can take up to 30-45 minutes including consultation, if numbing cream is applied, and aftercare advice.
-
Discomfort is minimal.
-
Results are visible straight away, but swelling will settle over the next few days. Final results are best judged after 2 weeks.
-
Jawline filler typically lasts 12–18 months depending on your metabolism and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments are optional and spaced accordingly.

Chin Augmentation
-

-
Ideal candidates include those with:
- A recessed or weak chin
- Facial imbalance in profile
- Desire for a more structured, masculine appearance
- Minor chin asymmetry or contour irregularities -
Most treatments use between 1–2 ml of filler, depending on the individual's anatomy and goals. This will be discussed and tailored during your consultation.
-
Only if it's needed to restore balance. The goal is harmony — not elongation. We assess your entire facial structure to ensure a natural and proportionate enhancement.
-
The treatment can take up to 30 minutes including consultation, if numbing cream is applied, and aftercare advice.
-
Discomfort is minimal. You have the option to apply a topical numbing agent beforehand, and most of the dermal fillers used contain built-in anaesthetic for added comfort.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
-
Botulinum toxin is a purified protein that relaxes overactive facial muscles. By temporarily blocking the nerve signals to these muscles, it softens the appearance of dynamic lines — those formed by repetitive facial movement like frowning, squinting, or raising the eyebrows.
-
We focus on three key areas for facial rejuvenation:
- Forehead lines (frontalis muscle) – softens horizontal expression lines
- Frown lines (glabellar/'11s') – smooths the lines between the brows
- Crow’s feet – reduces the fine lines at the corners of the eyes caused by smiling or squinting -
Not at all. At BellOmar, we aim for natural, refreshed results. You’ll still have expression — just without the deep creases. Subtle softening, not stiffness.
-
Initial results begin to show in 3–5 days, with the full effect visible around 2 weeks post-treatment.
-
Typically 3 to 4 months, depending on your muscle activity, metabolism, and skincare habits. With consistent treatments, longevity can increase.
-
Mild discomfort at most. We use ultra-fine needles, and the entire procedure takes just a few minutes. Most clients find it quick and very tolerable.
-
Virtually none. You may experience small red bumps or slight swelling at the injection points which usually disappear within 15–30 minutes. Bruising is rare but can happen.
-
For best results:
- Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for 24 hours
- Stay upright for 4 hours post-treatment
- Avoid alcohol, heavy exercise, and heat (saunas, steam) for 24 hours
- Avoid skin treatments or dermal fillers for 2 weeks -
Yes. Botulinum toxin is one of the most researched aesthetic treatments with a well-established safety record. At BellOmar Aesthetics, we only use licensed, medical-grade products and adhere to strict hygiene protocols.
-
Absolutely. Many clients combine anti-wrinkle injections with dermal fillers or skin rejuvenation treatments for a more comprehensive refresh. We’ll guide you based on your goals and suitability.
-
Your muscle movement gradually returns, and the lines will slowly reappear. With regular treatments, the muscles can become trained to move less, helping reduce future wrinkling.
-
Not unless you want to. Results fade naturally over time. Stopping treatment won’t make your lines worse — they’ll simply return to their natural state.
